Any changed dates will be shown in red.

It should be noted that telephone numbers provided above are 'At Home' numbers. Therefore discretion should be applied.

To qualify for the VCPS, under the auspices of the ABCCC Vic Inc, your VCPS-permitted motor car must attend a minimum of three (3) club-run events per year, from the date of the vehicle's permit issue.

Meet at Stud Park (Rowville) Melway 81 J1 at 9.15 for 9.45am take off
The Event will involve lots of chatting, an interesting not well known private car collection- safe to say that some of these cars are exotic. Tea and coffee on site, followed by a drive to lunch which may also be exotic but not a pub. We are hoping for a good turn out to kick off the year. -- More --

Planning for a catch-up lunch, we will meet at the Glen Waverly RSL, 161 Coleman Parade, Glen Waverley at 12.30 . We need numbers to confirm the booking by 31 January, Any further information will be updated.

A casual get-together Wednesday 15 February 2023 for those who are free and interested in catching up for a morning cuppa/cake; or those with a real appetite, brunch. My first booking is at Ripe Café - 376 Mt Dandenong Tourist Road in Sassafras at 10.30am.
Ripe Café is nestled next to the teapot shop and Miss Marple's, opposite the garden centre. Parking is on both sides of the road. If you have time, this is a quirky village of gifts, pampering and clothing to explore/update.
Being mindful of planning needs for the café, I will seek definite numbers by Wednesday 8 February. I can be contacted by email or text to 0458 274 252 to confirm

Venue: Crown Hotel, 273 Main Street, Lilydale
AGM will start at 2pm with lunch (cast $20) starting at 12 noon. RSVP for lunch count by 3 February please.

2 Leigh's Grand Prix - An ABCCC Event. Contact: Leigh and Sandra Wishart 0403 243 700
Start: Meet for morning tea at Churchill Island.
Continue on & do 2 laps of the 1936 Grand Prix track, on public roads. Speed limit 80 kilometres per hour. Then onto the Go Kart track: 750 metre replica of the famous Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit.
We need at least 10 drivers in order to have the track to ourselves (ABCCC) We can book up 20 drivers on the track & the cost is $75.

9 Flinders Motoring Heritage Day - . Contact: Flinders Lions Club (03) 9755 1772
The event hosts a display of unique veteran, vintage, classic and modern motor cars, all displayed throughout the charming village of Flinders. Now in its 7th year, the number of entrants and visitors has grown with up to 200 vehicles and over 2,000 visitors. -- Information & On-line Booking --

Leaving from the carpark of the Olinda Community House on the Olinda/Monbulk Road, which is next to the Olinda Swimming Pool. Melways Ref. Map 66 K8 at 9.30am.
Our morning coffee will be at the Gladysdale Bakery which is just past Yarra Junction. They make the best French vanilla slices and strawberry tarts, so pop some extra in your cooler for supper.

Meet at 12.30 at Wattle Park. Enter from Riversdale Road between Elgar Road and Warragul Road, Surrey Hills (Melway 61A2) and follow the access road to the end car park and proceed to the picnic ground behind the Swiss Chalet. Bring your Picnic Lunch/ drinks and chairs and your smile.
After lunch plenty of time for a walk amongst the gum trees and wattles before the free Melbourne Tramways Band- Brass Band Concert commences at 2.30pm (duration approx. 2 hours weather permitting)

My next morning cuppa in the hills takes us to Kuranga Nursery & Paperbark Café at 118 York Road, Mount Evelyn. 10.30am start. If you have not been here before; this is a large native nursery with an adjoining gift shop and cafe - the latter recently upgraded. We are booked on the well-protected veranda overlooking the gardens. There is plenty of off-street parking. I would appreciate confirmation (0458 274 252) by the Sunday prior (7th) to enable plenty of notice to the cafe. I already have some early starters, thanks. Looking forward to another enjoyable catch-up.

To celebrate National Motoring Heritage Day, step back in time to enjoy the 50-60's music, drive your Classic car and join us for lunch at Fonzie's Restaurant while displaying the classics in the parking area at the front of Fonzie's.
Arrive at the venue located at 93 Canterbury Road, Kilsyth at 11.30am, time to park the cars for display before lunch commencing at 12.15pm sharp. -see flyer-

The B-24 Liberator Memorial Restoration Fund is an Australian non-profit organisation founded in 1988 to acquire and restore a Consolidated B-24 Liberator for display as a memorial to all allied airmen who served on B-24 Liberators during World War II in defence of Australia.

Christmas merriment brought forward to our wintertime of July 5th at King Henry's restaurant - 320 Mount Dandenong Tourist Road in Sassafras.
Meet at 12 midday at the venue.

The roster point is Rowville Stud Park -leave for Gembrook to "The Motorist" - museum and shop open for us 10.00 am - David Peck is owner and a member of ABCCC We expect to be in Gembrook for about 1 hour 15 mins so time for morning tea and chat. Leaving Gembrook we will travel through Launching Place to Noojee for lunch at the 'Nooj'. Lunch table booking 1pm.
23 Ball Gowns Crowns and Classic Cars
Venue: Seymour Club, 1 Elizabeth Street, Seymour
Ball Gowns Crowns and Classic Cars will be an event to raise funds for Bladder Cancer in conjunction with the Olivia Newton John Centre. Arrive at 11.30am with your classic car, (if you have one), A quick meet and greet in the parking lot, then make your way upstairs to the function room by 12.30 for photos, a platter lunch, awards and display. Details: Visit to 'Market Fair', Ferntree Gully, followed by Lunch at Eating House, Rowville. Market Fair is a large modern building which we found pleasant to browse through. They stock an extensive amount of second hand wares, clothing and Hand Crafts. Also a large amount of Old LP's for those who collect same.

My final morning catch-up will take us to a very quaint café - The Patch General Store. Nestled between Monbulk and Kallista, at 16 The Patch Road in The Patch; this friendly "bit of everything' provides great food, coffee, bread, eggs, plants, post etc. etc. You may be tempted by brunch or a delectable cake from a large display. Order and pay at the counter. Please check their website for further information. Parking is roadside or next to the building. We will have to cap definite numbers to 15, so first in, best dressed. If this day is good weatherwise, we may be able to spread outside. I'll continue noting expressions of interest to allow for cancellations or possibly a second date. This is quirky. I think you will enjoy.

We are meeting in Lang Lang at 10am where we will have morning tea at Wendy May's, then wandering across the road to Aunt's Place which has 6 rooms of memorabilia & nicnacs. There is also an Op Shop a little further down the street. We plan to leave Lang Lang about 11am, taking a very picturesque & interesting drive on excellent roads to Trafalgar where for $25pp, a BBQ plus tea & coffee including entry to the Holden Museum. Our drive takes us up the Yarra Valley for morning tea, before heading to Yarra Junction. Here we will enjoy a lunch at the lovely Upper Yarra RSL Club. A good menu will be on offer and drinks at Bar prices.

Our drive will take us on a scenic route (not Maroondah Hwy) to Healesville. Here we will stop for tea/coffee. After refreshments we will continue our journey to the Dandenong Hills, where we will enjoy lunch at one of the many establishments in the area.
